Harvard Foosball Tables
Long before Harvard Game Tables was established, the company was originally called Crown Recreation West, Inc. based in California. The company had a longstanding history of 80 years in the table gaming industry. They got their start in the industry building table tennis and pool tables. The brand name eventually evolved to Harvard Game Tables and their first patent under this company name was filed in 1989 for a basketball goal adjustment mechanism.

Harvard Foosball Table Models
Harvard quickly rose to power in table gaming and were known in the foosball space for producing 5 different table models. Harvard also manufactured a number of other family-oriented arcade games, including: air hockey tables, basketball hoops, ping pong, and more. Like many brands in the table gaming and manufacturing industry there are mergers and acquisitions. It is not uncommon to see the same table made by the same parent company that takes on two different brand or model names, and Harvard is no different.
In 1980, Harvard was acquired by Escalade Sports as their parent company. Escalade owns many brands in the family gaming space and manufactures a variety of different sports, arcade games, and fitness equipment. Their Harvard table line has since been retired but they previously made 5 foosball table models. You won't be able to purchase these online or in stores anymore, but they were known as quality construction that were more likely to be found in department stores rather than at professional tournaments. They make a great gift for for kids or if you are just looking for a table for some casual foosball games. However, Harvard never made a professional, regulation table that you will find pro players using. |
