Foosball Push Kick Shot
Learning to Set Up the Foosball Push Kick Shot:
The push kick begins by setting up the ball on the inside of the foosball man closest to you on the table. You can do a push kick on either offense or defense so it depends which rod you will be using to take the shot, but these instructions will walk you through an offensive 3 bar push kick shot.
Foosball Push Kick Shot Techniques and Methods
Most beginners tend to grip the foosball handle with their hand too hard. Keeping a loose grip on the handle will allow for maximum movement and speed and limit your resistance. You will know that you are holding the handle right if there is some space between your palm and the foosball handle.
You will also need to learn to shoot an open-handed shot. Try passing the ball back and forth between your close 3 bar man to your center man and kicking the ball in. Next, open your hand as you release the pass and roll your wrist upward when you kick the shot. This will increase your overall shot speed. You may need to practice this wrist rolling motion in order to become accurate with your push kick shots.
