Foosball Bars & Rod End Caps
A question we often get from our readers is, "How safe is having a foosball table in my home if I have kids?" Our typical response to parents is your kids can get hurt on anything in your home, especially if you don't set rules and watch them closely. This game is no different than any other toy you buy for your kids and there are definitely things you can do to protect them. The biggest risk are the rods that stick through the other end of the table that are at a low height. Though some tables do offer telescoping rods that don't stick out on the other side, these models are hard to find and typically only offered in European-style tables. If the table you purchase doesn't come with end caps, you can purchase aftermarket safety caps below and slide them on any rod. Just measure the diameter size and slip them on to offer you a little more peace of mind.
