The Halex brand was previously owned by Regent Sports which is well known in the gaming and sporting industry for making everything from baseball equipment to darts. Just recently, Regent Sports was acquired by Hedstrom which has deep roots in the plastics and athletic industry. Halex now has the power of a much larger manufacturing network but they have always been known for their home gaming products and have been around for years.
Halex actually started out in the table tennis (ping pong) industry and quickly expanded into other games like electronic dartboards, table games and electronic board games. They specialize in making foosball tables that can be found in department stores and are not of the highest quality compared to some of the other foosball table brands. Today, Halex is still more known for their table tennis products than their foosball tables. They have been adding more high quality products over the years and introducing new table models by leveraging their partnership with Regent Sports and Hedstrom.
