Used Foosball Tables

Are you considering buying a used foosball table in order to save some money off the retail price? This can actually be a good strategy to saving money if you are able to find the right seller. In fact, you might be able to save anywhere from 20-50% off the original purchase price. There are many used foosball tables out there online that are still in good condition if you hunt around long enough.
We recommend using Craigslist or the Facebook Marketplace over eBay because you can go see the used table in your local area before committing on the purchase or the price. eBay is a little harder because you are limited to what you see in the pictures, which can be hard to truly analyze the table's condition. Also, purchasing it on eBay requires you to pay the shipping costs, which can blow the budget out of the water or eat into the cost and quality of the table itself. Shipping costs might even offset the savings of buying one brand new in some cases. Since price is such a big concern when looking for used tables, make sure you do your price research in our Foosball Table Prices section to determine about how much you should spend. Once you are okay with the used table price, below is a list of things you want to check out in person when you are purchasing a used table from Craigslist.
  • The table surface on a used foosball table is the biggest concern and a damaged playing surface can ruin the entire table. Look for cracks, warping from water damage, and ask to play a game to 5 on it to make sure it is a level playing surface and the ball can come to a complete stop.
  • Look for chipped corners around the goals. This is especially important on cheaper foosball tables because they tend to be made with more brittle and thinner materials that tend to chip off.
  • Grab the foosball men and make sure they aren't loose on the rod.
  • Make sure the foosball rods aren't drastically bent. Minor bending can be straightened out. Check out our article on how to straighten a bent rod.
If you notice any of the defects or wear and tear, you should consider walking away or getting a significant discount. If you find a used table in good condition, though, it might be worth it. Otherwise we suggest going the Amazon, manufacturer, or dealer route for a new table and looking for free shipping. The articles below will help you in your hunt for a used table.
